Indo-Canadians have a rich cultural heritage that deserves to be preserved, promoted, and celebrated. With a significant Indo-Canadian population in the Ottawa-Gatineau region, it is essential to safeguard this heritage and ensure its legacy for future generations.

One organization dedicated to this mission is the India Canada Association (ICA). For over 50 years, the ICA has been a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization serving the National Capital Region. Its mission is to promote cultural awareness and foster strong relationships between Indo-Canadians and the broader Canadian community. Additionally, the ICA collaborates with regional organizations representing India’s diverse states, celebrating the unique cultures that contribute to the country’s rich heritage.
